  1. For the last 25 years my favorite band has been Jethro Tull. For the last 5 or 10 years my favorite drink has been Captain Morgans Spiced Rum. Tonight I noticed a striking similarity between the public image of these two things I like so much. I wonder if I’ve been aware of this on some subconscious level. It never occurred to me before that the famous one legged stance of front man Ian Anderson was very much like the lifted knee of the Captain on the label of every 1.75 liter bottle that I’ve emptied over the years.  Funny the things that stare you in the face everyday that you don’t even see. I don’t think there are any life lessons here, just a strange coincidence that’s been starring me in the face, that I’ll never see quite the same way again.  Got a little flute solo in ya?
